Answers

» What restrictions are there on uploads?
The only restrictions we have on uploads are that filesizes cannot exceed 650kb and only the filetypes Gif, Jpg and Png are supported. Images must conform to our Terms of Service.

» What is the bandwidth limit on my images?
There is no set limit to how much bandwidth images can consume. It is possible that in extreme cases images may have to be removed for excessive bandwidth usage, for instance if several large images were being accessed from a very busy website, but this is very unlikely to affect normal users.

» Where's the image I uploaded?
After you upload your image, you will be taken to a page providing you with a link to the image and various forms of inserting it into pages (ie message boards, auctions, webpages). If you lose the link to the image, just upload it again!

» Is hotlinking allowed?
Yes. You are welcome to share any images you upload on message boards or use them on auctions... absolutely anywhere in fact!

» How long do pictures stay online for?
There is currently no expiration on images. In other words, once uploaded they're there for good.

» How many images can I upload?
As many as you like!

» Are images compressed when I upload them?
No. We do not add compress images, add watermarks, or make any kind of adjustments to images you upload.

» This site's great! Can I link to it?
Sure! If you would like to link to us with an image feel free to use this banner and the following HTML code:

<a href="http://www.imgspot.com"><img src="http://www.imgspot.com/uploads/sig.gif"></a>

Or, in plain text, with the code:

<a href="http://www.imgspot.com">Upload images for free at www.IMGSpot.com</a>

» What happens if I upload a file and one with the same name already exists?
The filename will have random numbers appended on the end. For example, if the filename was 'mynewcar.jpg' and that already existed it would become something like 'mynewcar54921.jpg'. Files cannot be overwritten.

» Why does my image appear as a red cross when I post it on a forum/webpage?
You have probably used the "Your Image Page" in your img tags. If the address you used contains "?u=" then you've used the "Your Image Page" link.
But don't worry, follow this link by pasting it into your browsers address bar, and click "Get code for this image" at the bottom, then at the next page look for " Your Image URL", this url is the want you want to include in your img tags!
